I hope to see you in the stands at Montmelo this weekend. I hope we can give you a good result, we will be fighting for it!
Hey friends! Now you’ve had a chance to see the video that we recorded in Jerez with my team!
In the video you can see how much fun we had, but I assure you, filming it was more fun than you can imagine!
I didn’t realize there was a parking area right next to one of the
circuit’s curves, Repsol had set up a little “stage”, with a goal, the
penalty spot, and some blindfolds. We were like kids, blindfolded,
taking penalties and trusting the directions of the our teammates to try
to not mess it up and send the ball who knows where.
In the video you can only see us, but I assure you that behind the
cameras there were many more people, and that everyone was laughing
non-stop. I’m convinced that at Repsol, in addition to the fun video
that they edited, they’ll get some more… because there must be some
outtakes!
Anyway, now it’s time to focus on Montmelo. Last week we were able to
train hard, and we’re aware that one of the most awaited moments of the
year is here: it’s the second GP at home, and in this case much closer
to Cervera.
I’m really excited to debut a new helmet. As you know we had a
contest for one of you to design my helmet this weekend, and the winner
was David Mata. Congratulations David!
Yesterday, by the way, my brother Alex introduced his fan club. I’m
thrilled that he’s going to have his own fan club, that they’ll support
him on the circuits, with his number and his colors.
My fan club will also be in Montmelo, of course. I know that they’re
planning something, but they haven’t told me much. But they never
disappoint, they’re always there! This time at the circuit’s G
grandstand.
Before saying goodbye I want to congratulate F.C. Barcelona for the
exciting game on Saturday in Berlin, and for managing to win the
Champions league again. I’m very happy for Xavi and for the rest of the
players, they had a great championship and they deserve it,
congratulations!
I hope to see you in the stands at Montmeló this weekend. I hope we can give you a good result, we’ll be fighting for it!
QUESTION OF THE WEEK:
Marc, I hope you can race with your brother together in the
future in MotoGP. On the track, will you treat him like your brother or
like another rival?
Question from Agniezska Piskorz
Question from Agniezska Piskorz
Hey, Agnieszka,
First he’s got to win the position and he’s still got a while for
that. He has to get experience and be competitive. He gets better
everyday, and I wish him the best in Moto2. But it’d be a dream for me
to see him in MotoGP. I haven’t thought what would happen on the track,
but it would be unique. It’s a feeling that I can’t explain because I
still haven’t experienced it.
Marc.
